On Writing Well- Part 1

William Zinsser exposed thousands of people to "the broad craft" as he calls it, of writing. You learn that while he has a schedule he sticks to when it comes to writing, there are also those who only write when their mind speaks to them. The first chapter tells the reader that of course there are different methods to writing and that there isn't one correct way. You have to know what is best for you and work from there. It might be at night while alone or it might be whenever you see an old couple still happily married and you feel the love pouring onto your paper.

I learned that even if sometimes words don't come naturally out of me, I can still make a good writing piece. I rarely rewrite things and maybr that's what prevents me from moving forward to the next level. Zinsser expressed that writing to him isn't easy. Writing won't always be be fun and people should stop getting frustrated when they can't find the right words for something. It will take hard work to get to where you want to be with your writing.
